    Modern medications for sleep normalization contain melatonin. This is a hormone that regulates the rhythm of sleep and wakefulness. Sleep disorders are associated with a violation of its production by the epiphysis. This sleep aid is effective because it affects the mechanism of its natural regulation, and at the same time it is safe:

    • it doesn't cause addiction
    • it normalizes the endocrine system and biological rhythms
    • it improves sleep quality
    • it makes it easier to adapt when changing time zones
    • it provides correction of age-related sleep disorders

    Products with melatonin can be used not only as drugs for sleep. They have an antitumor and antioxidant effect, slow down aging, stimulate the immune system, promote full recovery after physical exertion, training, and have a beneficial effect on the production of growth hormone.

    Melatonin is synthesized from serotonin, which requires tryptophan to form. L-tryptophan causes drowsiness during the day and improves the quality of night sleep when taken in the evening, it is effective in the treatment of depression and other nervous disorders. Drugs for sleep disorders may contain L-tryptophan in combination with melatonin and in pure form.

    GABA-acid can also be used to treat insomnia because, under its influence, the transmission of nervous excitement is inhibited, the central nervous system is subjected to a calming effect. In addition, gamma-aminobutyric acid is useful for athletes, as it helps build dry muscle mass and burn fat.
