The pineapple (Ananas comosus) is a well-known exotic plant, its popularity is mostly due to the delicious taste of its fruit. On the other hand, it also has many possible uses thanks to the active ingredients that can be extracted from its fruit or stem. One of these active ingredients is bromelain, which contains a complex mixture of protein-degrading enzymes and proteases.
The daily dose of our bromelain product contains 1000 mg of bromelain (1200 GDU*/g) active ingredient.
The level of enzyme activity can be expressed with GDU, the gelatin digestion unit (*Gelatin Digestion Unit). One gelatin digestion unit is the amount of enzyme that liberates 1 mg of amino nitrogen from a standard gelatin solution at pH 4.5 or 5.5 after 20 minutes of digestion at 45 °C.
We recommend the Bromelain product:
DIRECTIONS: Take 1x2 tablets daily with a glass of water with meal.
WARNINGS: Keep out of reach of children. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage! Food supplements do not replace a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle!
