Description

ALA is a capsule nutritional supplement designed for both professional and recreational athletes to supplement their diet with alpha lipoic acid. A vitamin-like compound that, as an antioxidant, takes part in energy production and cleansing the body (detox). Alpha lipoic acid is taken during times of severe oxidative stress. The body is capable of producing alpha lipoic acid itself, but food is a very important source of the compound (found in large quantities in kidney, liver, spinach and broccoli).
