Lecithin contains 15% phosphatidylcholine, phosphatides make up a large part of our brain and nervous system. NOW Foods Lecithin is a source of essential fatty acids, choline and inositol.

Lecithin is composed of a group of phosphorus containing fats or phospholipids, the most important of which are Phosphatidylcholine (PC), Phosphatidylinositol (PI) and Phosphatidylethanolamine (PE). Among PC, PE and other phosphatides, PC (Phosphatidylcholine) is one of the important and active ingredients that acts as an essential fatty acid to stimulate metabolism across the cell membrane. Studies have shown that Phosphatidylcholine is most effective for depression, memory loss and neurological disorders, and also stimulates the brain and cognitive functions of the cardiovascular system. Lecithincan be found in a variety of foods, including egg yolks, milk, meat, fish, and legumes. Your intake of some of these foods may have been lowered due to cholesterol and fat, and you may have reduced your lecithin intake at the same time . Every living cell contains phospholipids and the functioning of our nervous system is threatened if we do not take enough lecithin . The disadvantages are associated with various neurological disorders.
