Description

Isotonic is a drink that balances the level of water and electrolytes excreted from the body in the process of sweat secretion. It also replenishes vitamins and minerals and, to a small extent, also carbohydrates burned during exercise.

A balanced level of electrolytes and osmotic pressure, which corresponds to the pressure in body fluids, allows you to quickly quench your thirst and replenish lost microelements. The sodium contained in the drink effectively prevents the formation of muscle cramps.

Contrary to energy drinks, isotonic drinks have a low sugar content and are slightly saturated with carbon dioxide. They also contribute to the maintenance of water in the body and enrich it with micro and macro elements that help in the renewal of muscles.

Isotonic is an isotonic drink concentrate designed for athletes of endurance disciplines . Thanks to a special formula, the preparation not only perfectly replenishes fluids and electrolytes lost during physical exertion, but also helps to reduce fatigue and provides a complex of vitamins. The key ingredients of the preparation are:

glucose - sugar that does not require digestion , which is rapidly absorbed fuel for the muscles and nervous system.
sodium - an element that is intensely lost with sweat during exercise . Providing adequate amounts of sodium during physical activity has a positive effect on the water-electrolyte and acid-base balance and supports the processes related to thermoregulation.
In addition, the formula of the preparation has been enriched with the following substances:
guarana extract - provides natural caffeine, an alkaloid that reduces fatigue and increases exercise capacity . The dose of the extract was selected so as not to increase the loss of valuable electrolytes from the body.
potassium - just like sodium, it is an element excreted from the body during physical exertion. It participates in maintaining the appropriate osmotic pressure of body fluids, affects the water-electrolyte and acid-base balance .
magnesium - participates in many energy transformations , in the synthesis of muscle proteins, necessary for the proper functioning of enzymes involved in the processes responsible for the release of energy. Magnesium plays an important role in conducting nerve impulses and increases the contractility of muscle fibers.
calcium - participates in the activation of key enzymes responsible for the release of energy contained in ATP and is involved in neuromuscular conduction .
B vitamins - perform the functions of coenzymes in the course of biochemical reactions, and their appropriate availability is necessary to ensure the proper course of metabolic changes related to the transformation of carbohydrates, lipids and amino acids.
