Description

Isotonic drink is a carbohydrate-electrolyte solution for consumption before, during or after exercise to restore the muscle glycogen reserves with extra carbohydrates, which is especially critical during prolonged exercise in endurance sports. The presence of electrolytes also ensures that fluid is retained better and that electrolytes lost through sweating are replenished.
