Description

Magnesium glycinate contains magnesium bound to the amino acid glycine, which makes it easier to absorb. Magnesium is a trace element important for energy production and metabolism, muscle contraction, nerve impulse transmission, and bone mineralization. It is necessary for the correct functioning of about 300 enzymes. Processes that require magnesium include the production of fats and proteins, as well as glucose metabolism.
