    Immune system

A strong immune system is a key to success in everything: whether it is work, household chores, or sports achievements. Immunity plays a special role for those who lead an active lifestyle, because physical exertion is stressful for the body, reducing its protective function, making it vulnerable to various kinds of infections.

Taking care of strengthening the immune system every day is not an easy task, but it can be done thanks to a healthy diet and sports nutrition.

Here you can find and choose for yourself a set of nutrients aimed at protecting the body from harmful external and internal influences, as well as helping to replenish the necessary micro and macroelements to maintain a strong immune system.

    • Glutamine, being the most common amino acid of the body, is extremely important for the normal healthy functioning of the immune system.
    • Coenzyme Q-10, as well as other antioxidants, protects the body from the effects of free radicals.
    • Beta-glucan improves the body's immune response.

How to improve your immunity Immune system picture

If the immune system works smoothly, we will never notice it. But as soon as it becomes weaker, we get sick. Runny nose, cough, chills, and fever knock you down and prevent you from leading an active lifestyle.

This is especially frustrating for those who are out of the training schedule due to malaise. Although, needless to say, getting sick is unpleasant for any of us, so it is worth taking care of strengthening the body's defenses in advance, even if it seems to you that they work perfectly.

    Antioxidants

Since strengthening the immune system provides not only protection against colds and flu, but also prevents cancer, the main components of immunostimulants are antioxidants, for example, vitamins A, C, and E, coenzyme Q10, ALA, and lecithin.

Antioxidants are the best helpers in the fight against free radicals, which:

    • damage immune cells (T-cells, natural killers, etc.), which fight with cancer cells.

    • disrupt the relationship between immune cells.

    • they increase the total amount of free radicals in the body. Macrophages also produce their own free radicals to fight bacteria, viruses, and other harmful microorganisms. If the ratio between free radicals and antioxidants is unbalanced, free radicals produced by macrophages begin to destroy them themselves, leaving the body without protection.

And finally, free radicals are the culprits of destruction in cells, they violate their integrity and often provoke their mutations, which in some people results in the development of cancerous tumors. Therefore, one of the best ways to strengthen the immune system is to pump the body with antioxidants, i.e. effective fighters against free radicals.

    • Glutamine

A significant contribution to improving the protective properties of the immune system can be done by the inclusion of the well-known amino acid called glutamine in your diet.

Glutamine acts as an energy source for immune cells and is also used to produce one of the most powerful antioxidants called glutathione.

    • Beta-glucan

It is worth mentioning beta-glucan, which activates the work of macrophages, neutrophils, and killer cells that fight all kinds of harmful microorganisms.

Take care of your health and strengthen your immunity!
