    Among the antioxidants, histidine is considered one of the most powerful, as it copes even with those free radicals that are not up to the teeth of vitamins C and E. Moreover, it is part of the myelin sheaths surrounding nerve cells and is also involved in the formation of red and white blood cells. Histidine prevents the harmful effects of radiation and helps to remove heavy metals from the body.

    One of the main advantages of this amino acid is its excellent bioavailability since the main part of it is easily absorbed by the body.
