Description

Glucosamine is formed naturally in the human body and plays a key role in the construction of rigid connective tissue in cartilage joints. It stimulates the production of glycosaminoglycans (the main structural components of cartilage) and also supplies the cartilage with the sulfur needed to build and restore it. Glucosamine can be effective in treating and slowing the development of osteoarthritis. This disease is caused by constant wear and tear on the joints, which causes inflammation, decay and eventually loss of the cartilage. The tissues that are most affected by osteoarthritis are the joints that work under heavy weight, i. joints of knees, hips and hands.

Healing properties of glucosamine

It is an effective remedy for osteoarthritis.
Helps minimize pain for longer than traditional NSAIDs (NSAIDs anti-inflammatory agents) and have fewer side effects.
May be helpful in children with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis - two inflammatory bowel diseases when conventional treatment does not help.
