Description

It is a natural plant-based sweetener, very similar in taste and sweetness to regular sugar. Xylitol, also known as birch sugar, is found in many plants and fruits, among other things, and the human body produces it in small quantities. It has a low glycemic index - it can be consumed by diabetics, it does not cause blood sugar spikes. It has almost 40% fewer calories than white sugar.
