How do the ingredients work?
Calcium and magnesium play an important role in the regulation of cardiac activity. They are responsible for the formation of nerve impulses that cause successive contractions of the heart muscle. If the balance of the elements is disrupted for some reason, then there are disorders in the heart rate (arrhythmias).
Calcium also performs other important functions in the body:

Over the age of 19, doctors recommend consuming at least 1000 mg of calcium per day. As you grow older, bone mass in the body begins to break down faster than it recovers. Therefore, all women over the age of 51 and men over the age of 60 need to increase the daily consumption of the mineral to 1200 mg per day. Magnesium, like calcium, forms a part of the bone tissue, although in smaller quantities. In addition, it regulates the functions of the nervous and muscular systems. The daily intake of adult men for magnesium should be 400-420 mg per day and 310-320 mg daily for women.
Why is it important to take both calcium and magnesium?
Calcium in the body can be absorbed only in the presence of magnesium. Magnesium stimulates the formation of the active form of vitamin D, which provides the transition of calcium from the blood to the cells. With a magnesium deficiency, calcium accumulates in the blood and is deposited on the walls of blood vessels in the form of atherosclerotic plaques, which seriously increase the risks of stroke and myocardial infarction.
