Biotin is important for the life of all known organisms and is synthesized by plants and microorganisms, but in animals, including humans, biotin synthesis is deficient. Biotin is found in food in free or protein-bound form.
Biotin is needed for:

In the synthesis of fatty acids and glucose and in the metabolism of some amino acids.
In the metabolism of proteins, folic acid, pantothenic acid and vitamin B12.
Biotin maintains and strengthens hair, nails and skin

The complete absence of biotin (including loss of bioactivity) in food or a persistent deficiency can be harmful and even dangerous to the body.

BIOTIN - 10 mg per tablet
Biotin or Vitamin H or Vitamin B7 or Vitamin B8 or Coenzyme R is a predominantly endogenous water-soluble B-group vitamin that is required on a daily basis in trace amounts for the normal functioning of both physiological and eukaryotic organisms. Biotin is an indispensable growth factor for many bacteria. Vitamin B7 and its isomers are also bioactive biomicromolecules and essential coenzymes. Biotin is found in many plant and animal nutrients, and in animals with normal physiology, biotin is synthesized through microorganisms in the gut. It is also used as an essential ingredient in pharmaceuticals, supplements, vitamin preparations and cosmetics.
