What is the effect of FLUSH and NO-FLUSH?

Flush in simple translation means, among other things, "blush". Niacin FLUSH a fairly common side effect when taking high doses of niacin. And although it is absolutely not dangerous and does not indicate a low quality of the supplement, its symptoms - including itching and redness of the skin - are very common. This is due to the immediate release of nicotinic acid, which increases blood flow to the surface of the skin due to the expansion of blood vessels. Most people stop taking niacin because of this effect, but you should be aware that niacin can be taken in another form - inositol hexanicotinate, which does not cause the FLUSH effect like its predecessor, nicotinic acid. This solution is ideal for all those who are concerned about short-term erythema and itching of the skin after taking nicotinic acid.
