OstroVit MCT Oil Powder

Medium chain triglycerides are a type of saturated fat consisting of fatty acids having an aliphatic tail of 6–12 carbon atoms. They occur mainly in coconut oil, palm oil and milk fat. Some people also include lauric acid (C12) to this type, which has twelve carbon atoms, but according to some researches, it is closer to long-chain fatty acids in terms of its properties and metabolism in the human body. This is due to the absorption of the portal vein at a rate similar to glucose. Medium-chain fatty acids will play an ideal role in the reduction of body fat and help people with fat malabsorption. Rapid absorption saves glycogen stores what ideally confirms the thesis that MCT is the "golden source" of energy for any athlete who trains for strength, endurance or strength-endurance.
