St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) has a long history of traditional use by herbalists dating back over 2,000 years.

St. John's wort has traditionally and through numerous studies been recognized to help maintain emotional balance by helping to manage mild to moderate depression, anxiety and restlessness. Several phytochemicals found in the flowering tops of St. John's wort are noted to contribute to its therapeutic effects.

Main benefits:

Antidepressant properties. St. John's wort is often used as a natural remedy to improve mood and reduce symptoms of depression. It contains compounds such as hypericin and hyperforin, which may help stabilize brain chemicals associated with mood.

Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients. Manufactured in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients that contain these allergens.

Attention: for adults only. Do not exceed 3 capsules per day unless directed by a physician. Large amounts may contribute to photosensitizing reactions (reddening of the skin) in the presence of strong sunlight or tanning beds. St. John's wort is known to interact with antidepressants, oral contraceptives, immunosuppressants, anticoagulants, anticonvulsants, chemotherapeutics, and other prescription and over-the-counter medications.
