Grape seed extract from red grape is a food biologically active additive. The prefix “OPC” refers to the content of polyphenols/proanthocyanidins - powerful antioxidants, which are found in other parts of the grape, but in a much smaller quantity.

The grape seeds contain a large number of proanthocyanidins, which the body needs every day, like any other vitamins. Proanthocyanidins of natural origin have antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergenic effects.

As a result of the action of proanthocyanidins, the benefits of grape seeds in the form of powder are manifested in protection from the development of tumors, headache caused by weather change, in prevention of cardiovascular diseases. According to reviews, the grape seed extract is recommended for taking in the form of pills or powder in a dose of 50 mg per day. This is the amount of proanthocyanidins that is necessary for the manifestation of the above mentioned effects and actions.
