Pyrethrum parthenium, better known as feverfew, belongs to the Asteraceae family. Feverfew belongs to natural antiseptics, so it reduces the level of inflammation or completely eliminates it and also contains a high amount of natural antioxidants.

The use of feverfew in migraine reduces the frequency of headache attacks. It helps to stop spasms of blood vessels. These inflammations and spasms of blood vessels are the cause of headaches and migraine attacks. Feverfew also helps to relieve menstrual pain and reduce cramps. This is due to its ability to limit the release of a hormone called prostaglandin, which is responsible for pain and irritability.
