Lion's mane mushroom also called Hericium erinaceus is an edible mushroom that is native to Europe, North America, and Asia and can be recognized by its long (more than 1 cm long) by the filamentous fringes, the occurrence on deciduous trees, and the fact that its fringes grow as if in bundles like cauliflower. Lion's mane coral is well-known in traditional medicine, but its pulp can be used to make extremely tasty delicacies. In the same way, the lion's mane mushroom is also consumed in the form of elixirs and powders.

In traditional Chinese medicine, the lion's mane mushroom is used as a general tonic because it is believed to nourish each of the five internal organs - the liver, spleen, lungs, heart and kidneys. The mushroom is also called Qi, or "giving life force". Buddhist monks were known to use lion's mane mushroom in powdered form to increase brain focus during meditation.

Until now, the Lion's Mane mushroom has been used as a brain enhancer. Studies have found that lion's mane mushrooms contain two special compounds called herixenes and erinakins, which are believed to have properties that stimulate the growth of brain cells. These compounds are also important for nerve growth factor and helping with learning and memory.

Why did Ecosh choose lion's mane mushrooms from Estonian Mushroom Farm to use in its food supplement?

Although it would be cheaper to order lion's mane powder from China, Ecosh decided to choose the more expensive domestic raw material instead.

INGREDIENTS: powder of the ground part of the mushroom ( Hericium erinaceus ) or the fruiting body, extract of the ground part of the mushroom ( Hericium erinaceus ) or the fruiting body 10:1 (contains 30% polysaccharides), glazing agent: pullulan (vegetable capsule).

ADMINISTRATION: 1 to 2 capsules daily with food.

Do not exceed the recommended amount for daily consumption. The food supplement is not used as a substitute for a varied diet. It is important to have a varied and balanced diet and practice a healthy lifestyle. Keep the product out of the reach of children. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before using the product if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have chronic diseases or are taking medication.
