Magnesium is an indispensable mineral in the human body. Its importance is also shown by the fact that, like potassium, this element is present in all cells of the body. As magnesium cannot be replaced by anything else and the body cannot produce it itself, we must ensure that we receive a sufficient amount.

Because magnesium has quite complex physiological effects and is involved in a number of metabolic processes, its deficiency can cause a wide range of symptoms. Magnesium deficiency is usually caused by unhealthy lifestyles, lack of physical activity, chronic stress, inadequate and poor quality food, in addition to age-related factors as well as various physiological conditions (such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, adolescence), or chronic abnormal processes.

Magnesium supports electrolyte balance and normal energy production processes and normal protein synthesis. Vitamin B and magnesium support the normal functioning of the nervous system and reduce fatigue and exhaustion. Potassium and magnesium support normal muscle function. Potassium, magnesium and vitamin B6 support the maintenance of normal psychological function.
