OstroVit Kelp is a dietary supplement in tablets containing kelp standardized for the mineral necessary in our diet which is iodine.
Iodine helps in the proper production of thyroid hormones and in its proper functioning. Iodine contributes to the maintenance of normal energy metabolism and helps in the proper functioning of the nervous system.
The product is dedicated to people with increased demand for iodine, as well as for pregnant and lactating women.

Laminaria japonica is one of the species of brown algae, of the order of leaf algae. These edible kelp are consumed primarily because of their properties and rich content of nutrients and minerals. The Japanese casing, otherwise known as Kelp, is known for its high content of natural iodine, i.e. an element that has a number of important functions in our body.
Iodine is a necessary element for humans, which we must provide with food, but due to its frequent deficiencies, its supplementation is recommended. Iodine plays a special role in the proper functioning of our thyroid gland and is directly involved in the production of thyroid hormones like thyroxine known as T4 and triiodothyronine or T3. These are essential hormones that regulate the proper functioning of our entire body, which makes iodine so important in our diet.
